Fencing is a fast, graceful and tactical sport, in which strength is not the primary concern. The goal is to use a saber to strike the opponent without being struck yourself. Fencing has a rich history. Of course you know the images of famous duelists; the knights Lancelot and Floris or, for example, the Three Musketeers and Zorro. Now it is time to get acquainted with this fascinating sport.

At a fencing clinic, participants (duelists), receive a saber and the necessary safety materials such as fencing mask, fencing vest and glove. The clinic begins with the explanation of the materials and safety. Short explanations and exercises alternate until everyone has a good idea and understanding about the most basic attack and defense techniques.
